Ocean Township Middle School how School why merge Villagers kneel petition does not make sense The education department to do so in the end how to consider Recently, the reporter made a special trip to the Xinhua News Agency, (...) , "China Network" went to Ocean town to investigate. Core network thing] township middle school merge triggered farmers kneel petition Recently, an article entitled "End of the World Community to withdraw Lishui Jinyun County Ocean Middle School, the kids how to do "Net posts, (...) , triggering a high degree of concern for the majority of Internet users. Said in the post, located in the mountains in the hinterland of the economically less developed old revolutionary base areas, Jinyun County, Lishui City, Zhejiang Ocean only secondary school in the town, but also a good quality of teaching secondary school Ocean school middle school recently to be merge, hundreds of students township need to go 60 miles outside of school, county newsgathering stopped a car villagers panic collective knees populist cry for journalists. The quote is an immediately by the Internet users a high degree of concern. Only a week, Sina Weibo, http://www.uggofficialssjp.com , one of dozens of people down on their knees photos are forwarded more than 50,000 times, more than 10,000 comments. "[Reporter survey】 merge the controversial refraction" schools merge the wind "chaos merge lead to school difficulties, 18," China Network reporter went to the ocean town of verification interview steep burden on parents. The town is 39 km from the county seat, full twisting mountain road, the speed limit of 20 kilometers, but 34 meters of road width. Reporters saw the ocean schools, school campus environment better, the teaching building new, beautiful and pretty. So where the mountain is regarded as a very good school, really do not see from the surface any cutting and merging necessary. As is located in the the ocean town center village, the school accepted over 10 administrative villages from the vicinity of the school-age youngsters. Shuhong town, located 30 kilometers from the ocean town the ocean school middle school will be incorporated into the panxi junior high nine kilometers from the county seat. Why merge schools, Jinyun County Board of Education on its official website on the 15th issued three points merge grounds: First, the original central small scale, class sizes, the high number of the integrated panxi junior high school will have 42 classes with the size of the student body, faculty and learning environment will be better; merge, ocean school will have space to create better learning conditions for primary school students, standardized form class size in about 45 exemplary schools; Third, the use of vacant school buildings to build a provincial secondary standard for ocean town public kindergartens. However, the local villagers do not endorse these three reasons. Reporter interviewed hundreds of villagers gathering to come, they oppose the proposed merge reason there are five main points: First, the children go to school far more security risks. Villagers said Wang Weijian, 30 km from the ocean town to Shuhong town, curved mountain road, especially in the winter, ice and snow road closures, traffic safety is difficult to guarantee; worry about the quality of education. A student has studied at the ocean the school and panxi Middle School the ocean of good learning atmosphere, some non-the ocean town belongs students, prefer less than the nearest panxi middle school, but went to the Ocean reading; Third, family economic increased burden. Average annual income of twenty thousand more affluent people in the town, (...) , was studying in the ocean home is more than a pair of chopsticks, if the kids away to school, the cost of living is much increased; four children live on campus is not assured villagers Wang Meifei said. The villagers said that the child was only 13-year-old middle school syenite body leave his father and mother, who is responsible for the healthy growth of their Fifth, it is emotionally difficult to accept. Said 84-year-old villager Yang Jin, Jinyun has always been re-teach the school year, the villagers voluntarily donate their fertile land of 50 acres, the demolition of housing 5, dug graves of more than 30 points, is hoping at the gates of the child to the nearest school. , Who has left the ocean school teacher, told reporters that the past few years, rural teachers in treatment, training opportunities have obvious growth, and the ocean town of very great importance to education, they miss in the oceans days. In fact, the reporter found to merge the ocean school controversy reflects the rise of the current in some places merge schools wind "chaos: The first violation of the principle of merging school of the Ministry of Education, indiscriminately and school. The Ministry of Education has stipulated that before the implementation of the merge school adjustment, to adjust to the local people and publicity, to fully listen to the views of the community, strong masses to do a good job to explain the work, and timely modify and improve the program, shall not be simple engaged, forcibly merge. Is implemented only from lighten the burden of the Government's education angle merge the school, and in total disregard of increasing the burden on peasants. Third, the "one size fits all" merge causing new school difficult. Merge some schools, the new school is too far away from the student seat, in fact, has caused many rural students drop out of school, some of the local rural school dropout rates soared. 【Response and feedback] local Department of Education said it is to improve the program experts called the "one size fits all" merge school unhealthy trend must be curbed Jinyun County authorities concerned in response to reporters about how to deal with the problems of ocean town farmers petition Huang force, said local deputy magistrate in charge of education : invest a billion dollars the Jinyun Middle School xiandu Campus (high school) will be completed by September 1, 2011. The completion of this leading schools, "revitalize assets, freeing up space for the adjustment of the layout of the county primary and secondary education. Jinyun 2011 plans to merge 16 schools, the ocean school middle school is one of them. Low quality of education for the masses panxi junior high students on weekends the inconvenient transportation to and from school, mass economic burden, http://www.michaelkorsshopausa.com , the county government is to perfect adjustment programs, a rural school what should or should not merge China has long been engaged in the study of rural education, said Professor Wu Zhi-hui, director of the Institute of Rural Education, Northeast Normal, merge its practical significance, but should not be "one size fits all". To local conditions, scientific layout adjustment. Abolition of the school, the merger, it is necessary to take into account the number of population in the region, population structure, economic conditions, geographical environment, also taking into account local cultural characteristics, ethnic status, population mobility and industrial structure. Not increase the burden on peasants, people-oriented, despite the mass appeal wild merge schools "unhealthy trend must be curbed. In fact, in some places in the process of merging school, as early as in 2006, (...) , the Ministry of Education has issued a "notice" realistically do the work of the rural school restructuring and effectively address rural and remote mountainous areas inaccessible areas middle school students to go to school far matters related to the problem notification, "explicitly requested" campus, school buildings and other school conditions, but also has some students of the school, http://www.uggofficialssjp.com , to try to be retained must be avoided due to mistakes in decision-making, work simplification and 'one size fits all 'cause new students to school far problem occurred. Jinyun County merge Ocean School middle school would be clearly in the Ministry of Education requires the opposite. According to the latest understanding of the reporters, in order to "promote" school work, Jinyun County, specially set up a working group "to do parents work" signature agree "schools, (...) , so that parents". Delegate A parents working outside the family in the intention a single sign "consent" on the phone, but he told reporters: "I very much hope that the kids at home reading, but excellent teachers to the county, and now the government says to withdraw , how to pick "
